Wizardmon followed quietly behind Sora and TK to their destination. He listened to them talk, but payed little attention to their subject since he was busy observing their surroundings. After a couple minutes of walking, everything went quiet between the two in front of him.
The data-wizard slowed down when bushes around them started to rustle. “Let the mission begin,” Wizardmon said as he aimed his staff at a shrub and shouted, “Thunder Cloud!” knocking the emerging Bakemon back with a bolt of lightning.
Biyomon was high in the air. Below her Sora, T.K. and Wizardmon were walking at a steady pace, looking and waiting for an enemy.
Biyomon drew in a heavy breath and looked at the cargo she carried with her feet. Lopmon and Terriermon were looking around, holding onto her feet by their ears. Because of the double weight, she was heaving.
Suddenly she heard Wizardmon make the first attack on an ususpecting Bakemon. Time for some action, she thought. She beat her wings as hard as she could and flew higher and higher into the sky. “Terriermon! Lopmon! You’d better hold on!” she yelled as she reached the peak of her rapid assent.
For one suspended moment everything was in slow motion. Biyomon loved reckless flying for this one simple reason: when you reached the pinnacle of a speedy assent, time almost stood still and she could look at the scenery with a calm mind.
As time began to speed up again, Biyomon recalled what she had to do. “Terriermon. Lopmon. Are you ready?” she felt them nod at her feet and she let them go, letting them free fall at a staggering height. As they fell she flapped her wings for a few beats more as she spotted an Ogremon appear to help out the Bakemon.
She folded her wings into her body and began to bullet back down to the earth, aimed right at the Ogremon.
Terriermon looked over to his twin Lopmon. Free falling was causing both of their adrenaline to rise and their hearts pumped harder and faster with each passing second. Twisting and turning in the air, they both looked behind them just in time to see Biyomon shoot past them at an alarming rate to hit an Ogremon with a wicked Spiral Twister and then a vicious hit with her beak.
Lopmon nodded at Terriermon and spread her ears. As air filled and expanded their ears, the speed they were falling at slowed dramatically. Lopmon took in a huge breath and shot out a Blazing Ice attack on three Digimon advancing just as Terriermon began to rapid fire a Bunny Blast at another three Digimon behind them.
Using their ears to keep a constant glide above the ground, both Lopmon and Terriermon shot at the six Digimon coming to aid their fallen comrades.
Hey guys. I’m sorry I haven’t been around today. I was just running around and what not. I won’t be here until next Tuesday at the latest though, I have some business I have to attend to!
T: That’s okay, we’re leaving for a while too. Lopmon says she has some business to attend to..
L: Terriermon is coming because he doesn’t want to run into Suzie.
T: Heh heh. ^^;

A lot of things seem to be going wrong for everyone now that I’m in Japan. We all know I have a history of the people I care about getting hurt. Maybe I just shouldn’t risk it anymore and go home.
T: Awe, Willis! Don’t say that. Even though I’m technically your friend Terriermon, I still feel connected to you because I’m a Terriermon. I’m sure your Terriermon would agree with me when I say that your friends are happy to see you, despite what’s been going on. Just give it time!

T: What?
L: That was rather insightful of you, Terriermon.
T: He he, thanks, Lopmon. I get those moments from time to time.
